Mounting Flanges
Style MF

Mounting flanges, made by your specifications, may be brazed to heater at your insertion length. Available with any configuration. Flange material is 1/16" thick.

Threaded Fittings
Style TF

Threaded fittings provide fast, removable installation into a threaded hole. Silicone potting moisture seals can also be used in conjunction with the threaded fitting option. When ordering, specify brass fitting (Style TFB) or stainless steel fitting (Style TFS), unheated length, and if needed, water-tight.

Please note that the fitting may be placed flush with the end of the heater or anywhere along the length of the cartridge heater. We also offer Double fitting. Please contact Thermal Corporation for more information.

Distributed Wattage
Style DW

Distributed wattage concentrates extra heat where it is needed. Useful to compensate for high heat losses along the edges of heated parts. Can have as many zones as watt density allows. When ordering, specify number of zones, zone lengths, and wattage distribution.

Multi-Zone
Style MZ

For controlled heat zones. May have up to three independent zones. Can be added to Style CL, Style SB, Style SH, and Style SL. (Style CL is pictured.)

3-Phase
Style 3PH

For high amp applications. Available on most configurations. Some restrictions apply. Contact Thermal Corporation for more information.

Internal End Thermocouple
Style JC or KC

Internal thermocouple junction is located at the end disc to monitor the material flow past the end of the heater. Comes grounded unless specified to be ungrounded. (JC specifies type "J" thermocouple. KC specifies type "K" thermocouple.)

Internal Sheath Thermocouple
Style JB or KB

Internal thermocouple junction is located adjacent to the inside heater sheath to monitor the part temperature. Comes grounded unless specified to be ungrounded. (JB specifies type "J" thermocouple. KB specifies type "K" thermocouple.)

Double Fitting

Used as a removal method. Offered in most diameters.

Strain Relief Spring

Used in conjunction with braid. For applications with lead movement. Offered in most diameters.

Plugs

Can be attached to most configurations. Please specify your plug when ordering.

Ground Wire

May be added to most configurations.

Threaded Knockout

Used as a removal method. Can be added to all configurations.
